Training Across the Province

This area provides a comprehensive resource for easy access to training and professional development opportunities.  These can be accessed in two ways:  

• Current and upcoming scheduled events in a location near you. 
• An inventory of possibilities. Training and professional development aimed at Direct Support Staff, Middle Management and Senior Leadership.  This is currently under review to accommodate the CET training requirements for the new tiered systems 

Our goal is to support building the capacity of organizations by enabling easier access to existing training opportunities, finding the most economically viable options, and a variety of delivery methods to suit the sector's needs.  The quality of this resource depends on input by members of the CDS sector. 

ACDS is always looking to expand our list of external training programs. We encourage individuals to send us links for public events and webcasts that you feel would benefit the sector, particularly those free of charge.
