Alberta Council of Disability Services

Established by Service Providers for Service Providers

We exist because of our members. Since incorporating as a non-profit society in 1973, ACDS has evolved from an organization of facility-based centres to a representative body of community-based agencies providing diverse supports to help individuals live full lives in their communities.

With over 140+ members, we collectively influence the policy agenda related to persons with developmental disabilities and the organizations that support them. And, through our progressive standards, programs and services, we engage and elevate our sector towards our shared vision.

Read the most recent annual report to learn what we collectively achieved in the past fiscal year.
