Med Assist

ACDS has partnered with SARC to offer the online Med Assist program. SARC's medical administration program meets the criteria set out by the Creating Excellence Together (CET) Standards and is recognized by ACDS for the purposes of CET accreditation.

This 3-4 hour program provides employees with best practices and information when assisting clients with medication. The program is fully narrated and designed to meet a variety of learning styles and is intended to be one part of an organization’s medication assistance training program. Upon completion of the program, it is recommended that an employee then complete the hands-on process of assisting clients with medication under supervision. Learn more about Med Assist and how your organization can improve client safety and manage risk, by visiting SARC Learning Central.

To register:

1. Visit SARC's website page related to Med Assist 
2. Select non-Member from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter in your learner’s information and click the ‘add to cart’ button. You may enter in as many learners as you wish.
4. Once finished, click ‘view cart’ and enter in the ACDS promo code in the promo code area, ACDS2018, and click the ‘apply promo code’ button to receive the discount.
