Advanced Skills in Positive Behaviour Supports

The ACDS Advanced Skills in PBS program builds on foundational knowledge of PBS and explores advanced methodologies on behavior support planning. The course strengthens staff competence in positive Behaviour Supports, ethical decision-making, behavioral assessment, documentation, behavior support planning, data collection, intervention implementation, and the appropriate use of restrictive procedures.

In doing so, it helps service providers improve compliance with CET requirements, enhance service quality, and better protect the rights, dignity, and safety of individuals receiving support. Additionally, organizations with CSN requirements will benefit from this training program. Facilitated virtual training reinforces learning through real-time interaction with a subject matter expert, allowing participants to get clarification on complex topics and answers to questions instantly.
