Major Initiatives

ACDS leads and collaborates on major initiatives that address critical challenges and opportunities in the Community Disability Services (CDS) sector. Through research, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, we work to strengthen the sector’s workforce, and advance sustainable solutions for key issues such as wages, housing, and professional development.

	Project Blueprint CDS has led to the development of a comprehensive workforce strategy for the CDS sector.		The ACDS Annual Survey collects vital information on the CDS workforce, including wages, demographics, turnover, and more.
	The annual Sector Scanner is a data source of sector leaders’ perspectives on the most pressing current and potential challenges in the CDS sector.		A framework and recommendations for affordable, accessible housing.

ACDS continuously monitors emerging challenges and develops evidence-based solutions to ensure a resilient sector.
