Alberta Council of Disability Services

Become a CET Surveyor

ACDS is accepting applications for Creating Excellence Together (CET) Accreditation Surveyors, including Team Leaders and Team Members. The work entails recording survey information that they gather through

  • conversations with management teams, individuals accessing service, and staff;
  • observations of service provider facilities and of day programs, worksites, or homes of individuals; and
  • reviews of files and documents.

Benefits for Service Providers and their Staff

This is an excellent professional development opportunity for Community Disability Services (CDS) sector staff. They can build their sector knowledge, skill-base, and expertise in specific areas.

Staff who become surveyors also bring their knowledge and quality assurance expertise back to their employers, making them an invaluable asset when preparing for their own CET surveys.
