About ACDS

ACDS is a member-driven, non-profit association strengthening the Community Disability Services (CDS) sector to benefit Albertans with developmental disabilities. We accomplish this through: 

• Influencing public policy by advocating for issues that affect the CDS sector. Our advocacy is informed by ongoing consultation with members, and conducting sector-specific research
• Raising professional standards through our Creating Excellence Together (CET) accreditation program, recognized as the benchmark in our sector
• Building organizational capacity by offering a range of in-person, virtual, and online training programs
