Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-ACT) This performance-centered workshop presents a comprehensive, systematic approach to managing assaultive behavior. Topics include distinguishing between obnoxious and dangerous behavior, discerning the motivation behind the behavior, creating acceptable alternative behaviors responding to the level of injury threatened, Participants learn preparation, identification, response and recording skills for working with potentially assaultive clients. Course SIVA: Supporting Individuals Through Valued Attachments: A Proactive Safety Management Evaluation must first be conducted to understand the behaviour and establish a baseline of risk and a guideline for care, and the program builds on this. DAV (De-escalating Aggression & Violence) This is a hands off approach that focuses on verbal de-escalation skills and evasion techniques and safe escapes.

First Response focuses on understanding off how to respond to a crisis individual suffering with either suicide ideation or self harming behaviour.
