Session Overview
The disability sector has spent decades working to improve inclusion, rights, choice, accessibility and community participation. These achievements are important. But an important question remains: Can the lives of people with disabilities be further improved?
Research from the World Happiness Report, Action for Happiness, the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, positive psychology and other fields points to some remarkably consistent findings: people are more likely to flourish when they have strong relationships, a sense of purpose, opportunities to contribute, good health, choice, positive daily experiences and a sense of belonging.
Session participants will the question, “What would our organizations and sector look like if wellbeing was not simply something we hoped would happen as a result of our services, but something we deliberately designed our organizations to create?”

Certificate of Participation: To receive a Certificate of Participation, participants are requested to attend the webinar using the email address associated with your registration. To receive a certificate, participants are requested to complete the form and select the webinar(s) attended. Certificates will be issued upon verification of full attendance.
