Hosted virtually via Zoom on September 3, 4 & 5, 2024 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (MDT)
Introduction to Positive Behaviour Supports (Train-the-Trainer) training will be offered by the Alberta Council of Disability Services on September 3, 4 & 5, 2024 from 9:00am to 12:00pm MDT virtually via Zoom on all three days. The training sessions will encompass the following topics:
Day 1: A session on review of the PBS content.
Day 2: Principles of adult learning and virtual facilitation strategies.
Day 3: Presentations delivered by learners, as part of their evaluation for training.
Instructor-led training: This training is conducted via Zoom and are facilitated by an instructor. The training department creates a Zoom class link, which is shared with both the instructor and learners prior to the training date.
Trainer: Christina Schofield.
Christina Schofield works as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her Masters of Professional Education in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2021. Christina has had the opportunity to support individuals of all ages in a variety of environments, including specialized services, respite care, and in educational environments. She has been facilitating PBS trainings since October 2019.

ACDS Members: $275 +GST per learner
Non-members: $357.50 +GST per learner
