Alberta Council of Disability Services

CET Surveyors

CET Surveyors play a vital role in supporting the Creating Excellence Together (CET) Accreditation process, which ensures service providers meet high-quality standards. As a CET Surveyor, you’ll help evaluate services through a structured and meaningful approach:

  • Team Leaders guide the survey process, oversee the survey team, and compile findings into a final Accreditation report. They work under contract with ACDS.
  • Team Members support the survey by conducting interviews, observations, and document reviews. They work under the guidance of the Team Leader, with their employer receiving an honorarium to offset salary costs or apply toward professional development.

The Impact of CET Surveying

CET Surveys ensure quality and innovation across the Community Disability Services (CDS) sector. By participating, surveyors:
  • Build their professional knowledge and skills.
  • Develop valuable networks within the CDS community.
  • Bring back insights and quality assurance expertise to their organizations.
