ACDS leads and collaborates on major initiatives that address critical challenges and opportunities in the Community Disability Services (CDS) sector. Through research, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, we work to strengthen the sector’s workforce, and advance sustainable solutions for key issues such as wages, housing, and professional development.

On Advancing the Sector’s Workforce

To realize our vision for a professional, well-trained, and stable community disability services workforce, we lead and partner with our members and other stakeholders on several initiatives of importance to the sector.

vital information on the CDS
workforce, including wages,

The annual Sector Scanner is a
data source of sector leaders’
perspectives on the most pressing

in the CDS sector.

accessible housing.

ACDS continuously monitors emerging challenges and develops evidence-based solutions to ensure a resilient sector.
