Alberta Council of Disability Services

ACDS 2021 Annual Conference

June 1 to 3 and June 8 to 10

Innovate, Collaborate, Elevate: Realize the Possibilities

ACDS will host a virtual conference this year, via Zoom Video Communications. The conference will be held over two weeks: on June 1 to June 3, and the following week on June 8 to June 10. Please save the dates! Registration will open in April.
The conference theme, Innovate, Collaborate, Elevate: Realize the Possibilities, recognizes that the Community Disability Services (CDS) sector has tremendous capacity to strengthen and elevate, through strategies such as innovation and collaboration. Now, more than ever—given, the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; Alberta’s economy; the sector’s continued workforce and funding challenges; and future program transformation changes to PDD—we must prepare and look to the sector’s existing and potential capacity to strengthen and advance. These efforts will help ensure that individuals with disabilities will continue to receive the quality services they need and deserve.

The conference is designed for front-line staff, managers and executives from the CDS sector primarily in Alberta, as well as individuals and organizations affiliated with the sector. The virtual conference will include a mix of session formats, including webinars, panel discussions and networking activities.
Stay tuned for further conference updates and information.
