Honouring Rights of Individuals
Standard 25: The service provider has a fair and equitable process for accepting individuals into service

Standard 26: The service provider has processes to ensure that the individuals' rights are protected

Standard 27: The service provider has a fair, reasonable and equitable process for addressing concerns and disputes

Standard 28: The service provider has processes to protect individuals from abuse, and to report, review and follow up on any allegations of abuse

Standard 29: The service provider has a process to ensure that information about individuals is kept confidential

Preamble: Standards 30 to 32 are about the service provider's process for addressing the individuals' immediate and future safety and well-being in relation to situations or behaviours of concern

Standard 30: The service provider has a process for responding to unanticipated situations or behaviours of concern

Standard 31: The service provider uses planned positive procedures in response to anticipated situations or behaviours of concern

Standard 32: The service provider enacts policy and procedure with regard to the use of restrictive procedures in response to anticipated situations or behaviours of concern

Health and Safety
Standard 33: The service provider promotes the use of individualized Assistive Technology and Environmental Interventions to help individuals gain personal control and enhance function

Standard 34: The service provider has a process to manage risk

Standard 35: The service provider has a process to assist individuals to identify and address their personal health, safety, and well-being

Standard 36: The service provider ensures that the administration of medication to individuals is done in a safe and consistent manner

Human Resources
Standard 37: The service provider conducts human resources planning

Standard 38: The service provider enacts policy and procedure regarding areas of employment

Standard 39: The service provider supports employees to succeed in their work

Standard 40: The service provider promotes the attainment, maintenance and upgrading of employee qualifications through training and development

Standard 41: The service provider has practices that promote employee satisfaction

Structure of Organizations
Standard 42: The service provider has a governance structure and a process for making decisions
    Scenario 1: Governance structure operates under the auspices of the Societies Act
    Scenario 2: Governance structure either operates under the auspices of the Companies Act or is an unincorporated business
Standard 43: The service provider facilitates continuous quality improvement and outcome evaluation

Standard 44: The service provider has practices that promote its purpose and values

Standard 45: The service provider has an overall planning process that guides the organization
